Vibration Damping Mats – Bitumen Based

The DM Mats are manufactured from bitumen with added mineral fillers and synthetic rubber, forming a highly viscoelastic product. They come with a self-adhesive backing and are available in two different densities.

For most effective vibration damping, it is recommended to match the same thickness of damping mat to the thickness of steel being dampened.

DM5 = 2.5mm thick

DM10 = 5mm thick

Sheets are supplied with an embossed facing and an adhesive backing.

This material is used extensively in Vans, Motorhomes, Cars, Boats, Trailers etc.

To prevent damage during transit we supply the Damping Mats in packs of 6 pads 500 x 500mm, although we can supply them in larger sheet sizes up to 1500 x 1000mm, please contact us for details.
