SoundDead 240 Foam

The highest performing acoustic foam available, nearly three times denser than standard industrial foams.

A premium high performance acoustic absorption material, environmentally sustainable and designed for demanding applications. Its unique structure and composition allow this material to offer around twice the acoustic energy absorption in a given thickness when compared with traditional acoustic foams.

It is available to buy online in 25mm thick sheets, although several other thickness’s are available by request.

The foams high density allows designers and specifiers to reduce the space that they consume and to reduce the noise that users experience. It is the result of 4 years of research into para-elastic materials that exhibit potential acoustic absorption capabilities. By modelling and optimising the material’s micro-structure, this product is designed to have very high levels of absorption across the frequency range.

This foam can also be used as a vibration damping material, and comes with a self-adhesive backing.
